Biofilm interferometry (BLI) is a real-time technique for detecting intermolecular interactions. The experiment requires the use of affinity or other methods to immobilize a biomolecule on a sensor to detect the binding and dissociation process of another substance, with a small amount of sample and a wide range of detectable affinities. Specific BLI Technology for Competitive Binding Assay Approaches We Offer

CD BioSciences can analyze epitopes between antigen antibodies using BLI. For identifying whether multiple antibodies bind to the same epitope of an antigen and whether there is competitive binding between other biomolecules there are three designed methods, using B1,B2 competitive binding A as an example:

Experiments generally include:

• B1-B2 Experimental group 1
• B1-0 Control group
• A-0-B2 Experimental group 2
• B1-B1 Self-reaction

If the K off of B1 and A is greater than 10E-4, then the same concentration of B1 needs to be added to B2.

Experimental validity: the self-response signal is less than 20% than that of experimental group 2.

Judgment criterion: Experimental group 1 signal is more than experimental group 2 signal.

• 60%-100%: no competition at all
• 20-60%: partial competition
• <20%: complete competition
